Music City or Trash City?

So #Nashville is done and dusted. Little disappointed that Music City was just a cover band haven with no real character, but where I stayed was good and bit alternative. The race was huge, Superspeedways are amazing to watch NASCAR, well worth a crack.

Now down in Mooresville/Charlotte and tomorrow will be awesome. On the drive today I headed buzzard rock, pretty hairy when there is a hundreds of metre drop and no fence, with three buzzards flying overhead waiting to pick up my scraps.

The amazing takeaway for me is not any of the icons, but the people. So polite and nice in this part of the world, even if they do like Trump.

Indigenous Reconciliation

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work and share our stories.

For tens of thousands of years, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have used storytelling to pass on knowledge, preserve culture and deepen the connection between people and Country.

We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and recognise the storytellers who continue this enduring tradition.
